16-th International Specialized Exhibition
PUBLIC HEALTH - 2007
The 16-th International specialized exhibition of medicine and pharmacology PUBLIC HEALTH - 2007 took place on October 16 - 19, 2007 at the International Exhibition Center (Kyiv, Brovarsky ave., 15).
PUBLIC HEALTH - is one of the most important events at medical equipment, pharmacies and optics aimed at informing target audience with the latest research, technologies and achievements as well as providing specialists, medical staff, state authorities and citizens with effective communication tools and conditions.
The exhibition profile traditionally included - medica, pharma, pharmacological equipment, optics, laboratory equipment, emergency medicine, beauty and health. This year medical and laboratory equipment were the largest categories mostly due to the national exposition of Germany, which represented 32 companies. One could see the production of such well known companies as: Siemens, Toshiba Medical Systems (represented in Ukraine by "Ukrmedtehnika"), Philips Medical Systems represented in Ukraine by "Ukrmed"), Fresenius Medical Care, Medaparatura, Radmir, Teleoptik, pharmacological companies Pharmak, Stirol, Biopharma, Belmedpreparaty etc.
Several honorable guests visited the exhibition PUBLIC HEALTH - 2007: Minister of Public Health Yuriy Gaydayev, Head of the Presidential office of Ukraine Andrew Kyslynsky, President of the Ukrainian Academy of Medical Science Aleksander Vosiyanov, Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Public Health Tatiana Bakhteeva, Director of the British exhibition company ITE Group Plc mr. Jeremy Henry. All of them noted the dynamic growth of the exposition and underlined the topicality of holding such an exhibition in Ukraine.
The scientific program of the exhibition consisted of a number of significant events, such as:
- Conferences on midwifery, gynecology, urinology
- Reports on perspectives of Ukrainian legislation on medical products
- Public discussions on etiology of various illnesses
- Master-classes at sections ("clinical endodontology", "clinical paradontology", "stomatology and general medical practice")
Alongside the PUBLIC HEALTH exhibition the 7-th International Ukrainian STOMATOLOGICAL SALON took place on October 16 - 18 at the International Exnibition Centre, pavilion #2. Its visitors enjoyed the opportunity to get informed on the latest research and development of stomatological industry in Ukraine and abroad and also have a look at instruments, equipment, spare parts and materials, medicine and clothes.
